Engine kill switch.
If the pilot should accidentally fall over board,
the communication is cut between the boat and the pilot.
The engine will automatically shut down immediately
and a signal light will activate.
The Engine Immobiliser is activated when the ignition is switched off.
The engine immobiliser is deactivated by switching the ignition on.
In the event were the pilot is leaving the vessel without turning off the ignition,
the engine immobiliser is automatically activated when the
communication between the lock & key unit is discontinued.
Remote Control.
With CoastKey you can remotely control start,
stop and tilt of the engine within 3 to 8 meters.
The battery in CoastKey has a lifetime for 2 to 3 long seasons.
(Battery has a estimated lifetime of about 300 engine operating hours)
The lock is connected to the engine ignition system.
If the key is not available or lost, you will still be able
to start the engine by entering a 4-digit pin code.
